Gaming Your prediction for Pokemon 8th Gen

First of all, do you think the next generation of pokemon games will be on Switch or on 3DS?
secondly, Do you think nintendo will bring back Gym?
also, what could be the representation of Legendaries? (we had Sky, ground and ocean in RSE, time and space in DPPt, Light and Darkness in BW, DNA in XY, and Sun and Moon in SM)
and finally, what could be the name of the antagonist team?
if you want, you can even describe their clothes

an open world pokemon game would be awesome, but a bit tricky, because you could end in an area with level 30 wild pokemon when you have pokemon level 12-15

i also said in my previous post that there could be roads, that if you follow them, youll get through the main story only, and fight trainers
IF you get off the roads, youll find pokemons, items, cave, quest, etc

There won't be another Pokemon Game for the 3DS cause gamefreak used with Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon all capacities of the 3ds.
The next Pokemon Game requires a more Powerfull Gameconsole than the 3ds.

They didn't used 3D on Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun beucause the 3DS wouldn't handle it, the 3DS Hardware is too old and you would have slowdowns.
Only with CFW + CPU Speed unlock and L2 Cache on (New 3DS) the old Pokemon Games worked playable with 3D turned on.
On the old 3ds the old Pokemon Games had slowdowns (with and without 3D turned on) thats why they didn't used 3D since Pokemon Sun and Moon
The Game Cartridge are also to small (max 4gb)

But even with the N3ds they have limited power. If they want a truly better and more powerful game it will be for Switch. Not only that, but that is like saying you will but the next Mario game on the N3ds, there would be an outrage over that.

then i get it why it would be on the switch, since UMUS weight 3.5GB
not much more you can do on 3ds
I think the max size of switch cartridge is 64gb, which would make greater game

The big issue is that Game Freak has been proven multiple times of having rather poor software reliability and optimization skills (like the ridiculously high resolution 3D models in gen 6), that's been true since the originals - it just happened to become obvious to the general public in the 3DS age

if it is a mario game they announce 2 years before its release, make all the hyping rise over time, and its just a meh game, then it would cause outrage
in other word, if they release a mario game on 3ds, it shouldnt be a major game
