patches are version specific.
are you using the correct patch?
US uses US patches. UM uses UM patches.

Yes I am using the correct version patch. I made sure to double check each time I downloaded the zip. To add, someone using US created a code.ips with the exp patch on their end and sent it to me saying it worked with no issues and still a crash had occurred on my end

14. If you use Windows, open the calculator in programmer's mode, or whatever you call it in English. That easily converts decimal to hexadecimal.

Nice thanks. Have you tried refresh with mega forms out of curiosity? I imagine it'll crash the game? (I think it used to crash in like oras if you forced megas anyways)

that leaves to just some interesting codes like unlimited Z-moves/Mega evolution with or without stones, PPs and etc.

It'll either crash the game or doesn't have any unique animations for Mega evolved forms.

if I'm not mistaken, unlike NTR plugins where some plugins can't run on O3(2)DS, all 3(2)DS consoles can run patches without issue.
