isn't CFW 4.81 in the making? that would make IDPS injections obsolete, right? then we would have native .pkg installation.
CFW is in the works. But so far they have established it will take a long time for 3k and 4k systems. 2k systems will be able to install CFW when the flash can be wrote to; the flash writer is being released around march.

NOR writing do NOT work on 4xxx with 12Gb in internal HDD.

CFW 4.81 will be for a long time because of the metldr2 in the 3xxx and 4xxx.

Add to this the fact that @esc0rtd3w got into some issues on the lv0.2, it means more work to be done. IDPS should work for a lot of consoles. For others, please wait.

Sorry, I'm a total noob in the ps3 scene, I bought my super slim and it had 12gb, but i upgraded it to 250gb so should it work?

Cool, I have a fat nand I was going to do but now I'll wait. Does it need to be on 4.81?
I'm on the same boat buddy hahaha, NAND models are better (bc their PS2 bc but are harder to disassemble and downgrade).
EDIT: I'm getting a javascript error via http://noblevape.com/idps/ :
"Found usb_fp_rosdump at: 0x8031dde2
0x8031dde2 was added to used_offsets array."
EDIT2: After every refresh I'm getting another error code, this exploit isn't very stable ATM, isn't it?
EDIT3: I've managed to dump the file by hosting my own server on 2nd try, hooray! :)

how to you host your own server?
i am trying on my PS3 for several hours and can't manage to get it to work.

it worked, i think
the guide said it create a file on this path
/dev_usb000/idps.bin

however i found the file idps.bin on the root of the flashcard, it's 16 bytes file.

/dev_usb000/ is your flashcard, at the very right of the PS3, like /dev_hdd000/ is the eMMC HDD or the HDD you've added in it.
