whats up yall, pretty self explanatory - i dumped a couple carts of games i own to .cias, pokemon x/y, sun/moon and oras. so far i've installed x and sun, x took about 4 hours and sun took about 9. i've followed the guide step by step the whole way. is it normal for it to take that long?

thanks :*)

It depends on the read/write speed of your SD card and how big the actual games are. No, it shouldn't take that long unless you're installing them over Wi-Fi with a shitty connection.

it's a n2dsxl with a 32gb class 10 msd installing directly off of the sd, but alright, thanks~

Normal install speeds should be 850-1250 KB/s for old 3ds systems and about 250KB/s higher for new ones, if it's not around that range, then something's wrong with your SD card, so try cleaning the pins a bit just in case. If it doesn't work, reformat it.

Wait, are you sure it's MB/s?

Shit, I put 5MB/s for 500KB/s, need to work on my conversions again I guess. lol
500KB/s is about half of what you should be getting on O3DS. On my O2DS, I mostly get 950-1050KB/s.
