Only one change is listed:
  • Changed the HDMI connection process specification to match that of version 3.0.2 to address video and sound output issues with some TV models.
Looks like they rolled back the nVidia driver due to some issue with HDMI modesetting on some TVs. (The real problem is the TV is defective, but Nintendo can't outright state that, so they need to have nVidia add a workaround.)

It that's true they may have accidentally added it before they meant to. Meaning they definitely have something planned. Either something like smash or gc vc coming soon
it looks like the people who said it wasn't working jumped the gun and panicked before reconnecting the controllers after a hard reset.
 
This is going to suck for that dude that was playing arms with the dk bongos the other night on Reddit if GameCube controller support was actually removed...
i just updated mine, just had to go back to find controllers and it works fine, false alarm.

Good to hear. All the switch Reddit people are starting a dumpster fire right now and think Nintendo changed some of the drivers not only for the tv support but usb controllers also...

yeah seems like they tried literally nothing cause i got it working within 2 seconds of updating my switch.
