Is there an alternative to YSMenu? Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey won't run on YSMenu, and the cheats menu in the R4 Gold Pro menu is glitched up to the point it's unreadable...

You could try Moonshell.

Have you try shortening the name of the game? It may sound stupid, but I had this problem with my cart with large names, so I had to shorten them.

Yes, just do that on your computer then try to launch them on YSMenu.

Did you try retro’s files?
And moonshell doesn’t officially support commercial ROMs. You need to use a external launcher like ysmenu to get ROMs to work.
