Hardware My Switch Died. Today.

As I said my switch died. Haven't used it since July. So I plugged it in to charge. When I went back after an hour.
The Joygon's light up. But nothing on the Tablet. Just black screen. When I put it in the dock. the light on the bottom of the dock, flickers then nothing.
Time for nintendo to look at it.

Nothing really just letting other people know. Like I said I haven't used it since, July. Then I decided too play the switch again. But It's not working.

It's not dead. When there is no charge left it needs to be charged a lot longer before you can turn it back on. It's normal. Let it charge for a couple of hours

Been on charge for 4 Hours. Still Nothing.

Then let it charge overnight without the joycons attached. And the light flickering in the dock is normal btw

I will try that. Take the Joycon's off. But I think it's dead.

It'll take at least 24 hours for it to charge up after letting the power drain like that since july. Had the same happen to my iPhone 4s that I lost for a few years. Just had it charge over night and it worked like new

Did that. Just won't knock on. Joycons work. Phone Nintendo, they said. I got too send it too them. So they can have a look at it.

I wondered if we were about to see the first heat death of a switch (I know that would require something to actually do on it to get the runtime up there but I have been surprised in the past). Only deep discharge related though.

I had a similar problem the other day, but I managed to get the power options screen to appear by holding down the power button. I clicked restart and it didn't work, so I did it again and chose power off, then turned it on again and it worked.

I think the 3DS has a 'Safe Mode'.
