Hey, when i'm playing Gamecube games through Nintendont i occasionally and randomly get an error message: An error has occurred. turn the power off and refer to the Nintendo Gamecube Instruction Booklet for further instructions.

This seems to happen with any game. I am playing on a softmodded PAL Wii with PAL Gamecube games on a FAT32 formatted 500GB WD HDD. I don't run into the error when i play games off the SD card.

Any help to get it working without errors would be much appreciated.

are you running the latest build of nintendont?

Sounds like maybe the HDD is going to sleep while you're playing. Maybe it has a utility to turn off power saving? Or it could need a Y power cable to make sure it has enough juice.

Yes, v5.472

It's weird, the error appears at different times on different games. I thought the Wii outputted enough power to play from an HDD
