May sound a bit dumb, but I wanna know this.
Situation:
I converted a GBA ROM to CIA and installed it. I completely finished the game. I however forgot to apply "Sleep Patch" to the CIA, so I remade it.
Question:
If I uninstall the old CIA and re-install the patched one, is there a way to preserve save data? I can't see an option to backup the save data using official tools, and I'm not sure of using Homebrew tools either. Also, I saw on some site that Virtual Console saves are encrypted. Can that be a bottleneck in the save data backup / restore process? Please help me out.
