ROM Hack Having Trouble With Patching

I recently got a new computer and I wanted to play Pokemon Sun with the no line patch through Citra but after I patch the rom with Lunar IPS Patcher when played it still has lines. Any way to fix this?

You don't patch the ROM with Lunar IPS. I don't even think IPS files patch ROMS of that size.

Look for a S/M Patcher app on TitleDB. I believe I saw something along those lines a while back. You can browse TitleDB through FBI.

EDIT: Ah, you're playing through Citra. In that case, what I just said was pointless. I probably won't be of much help here, then. I still don't believe you use IPS files to patch the game, though.

I think this is just dumping files FOR something on Citra to work, not using FBI ON Citra itself.

Just watch that and do as they do. I'm not sure about why Lunar IPS won't work with Citra. Citra should play it regardless. But since you have access to Citra completely, you can just patch it yourself with changing 8 instructions.

Looking at the source code for SMPD, it seems the IPS patches are for the code.bin, not the entire ROM itself. You could extract the code.bin using ctrtool, patch it that way, then repack the ROM, if you prefer, I believe.
