Like, could I plug a type-c extension cable into it and plug my phone into that then use my tv as a big monitor with a keyboard and mouse plugged into the dock?
Thanks anyways. Frankly I'm just glad you explained why you thought it was wrong, as opposed to a simple "no" with no evidence - I've found that quite often those kind of answers were misinformed and completely wrong. No, I really doubt it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the dock actually has a chip in it to see if you're hooking up a switch IIRC
No problem. Most people are just going to say no because they think the question is stupid. I thought it was a pretty good question, since I actually thought the same thing back when I bought my switch. Also you may want to go look it up on Google and double check to see if anyone managed to get something working or look on the switch Reddit. I could be wrong too, ya know. Thanks anyways. It should be possible, as breakout cords with displayport to hdmi work. That's what the Windows Continuum phones work, so it hink it should be possible. Except I need a stupid extension cable because there's those prongs to prevent me plugging anything else in.No problem. Most people are just going to say no because they think the question is stupid.
