No, you said you preferred n2ds over n3ds and the tn screen's lower power consumption was your reasoning. Should I source that? I'm saying even with duel ips, the n3ds still wins out on power

I think you can get a N3DS XL Galaxy model from Nintendo refurbished for a decent price. If not, I'd still get a N3DS XL, but a really cool limited edition.

Well, TN eats less power, and you don't really need it on secondary. Most of the time, you are looking straight at it, so you don't need that extra viewing angles. And because it is secondary screen, you don't need that super colors (because most of the time you are watching top screen). This is why I would prefer TN panel on bottom screen. But hey, that's just what I think

Nope. My N3DSXL has top IPS and bottom TN. And I don't really care about the bottom screen because 90% of all time I am looking at the top scrren.
