cubic ninja is kind of pointless at this time because of ntrboothax. Also, the 11.5 qr codes should work on 11.6

Well if the person has owned cubic ninja beforehand back when an nds flashcart had no place in the Homebrew scene, then it is a useful entry point for low level Homebrew and romhacks. Otherwise, true, why spend 100 bucks on a game that's worth 15.

It is a cartridge that can be used to play DS games. However it can also be used to install CFW on the 3DS (as of a few weeks ago).

Look at the link I gave you, there's a list of the compatible ones and the requirements. The R4i Gold can be used in a stock 3DS without anything else needed. The AK2i needs a 3DS on 4.x or a DS.

You'll need either a second console that's already hacked, or a DS flashcart compatible with ntrboot.

As said by Quantumcat, you cannot install .CIA without a CFW. That means you've got a flashcard or 3DS' friend modded.

It will allow for simple homebrew, but you cannot get cfw without a second modded 3ds or a compatible flashcart. How were you thinking about getting oothax? Usually the amount of money and effort put into getting oothax can be put into a cfw just as easily.

I already have OOT and a Powersaves. I had those a long time ago.

In that case the simple answer is no. You're better off spending 20 dollars on a flashcart.
