Nice work mate. I got to a point that I was happy with it and installed a few games. Don't make them too good that I have to go through and ftp updated ones Haha!

No idea, I just ran color to alpha on black and then used the remaining graphic on another layer above where the user puts the screenshot, but I have a gimp template I'll be uploading sooner or later so feel free to wait if you'd rather not bother with that yourself.

thanks but i been doing it with gradient for a long time with n64 injects ... guess ill just keep doing that

Nice one. That mask def looks alot better than the hack job i created haha! however, I originally had the text exactly in-line with the n64 banner text as yours shows now but with games that require two lines of text I found it to be a bit cramped and hard to read. For instance "The legend of zelda: four swords adventures" I decided to drop it down a fraction.

thx ... ill try it , but i find using transparent overlay darkens the pick to much so far, ill see how it goes

If you mean you want to change the iconTex.tga on a game that is already installed on the Wii u, yes you can ftp the new image over the original one. It would need to be the correct format though.

Haven't used Photoshop in ages but thought I'd have a go myself using the templates, didn't know how to curve the corners of an image I inserted, so I kinda bodged it but it works Will be doing more and sharing them

Decided I will edit this post with new banners I get around to do, they're not the best but they look good enough to me

Have the same top down pic for the purple console? Or similat to it?

Also, did you use a translucent layer on top of the console pic? If so what color it is and the opacity %

I think we should consolidate a single GCN VC template, in both photoshop and gimp format. Though I'm more inclined towards the purple one because it was the official color at launch, and most iconic one.
