Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

I have black screen with Metroid Prime europe (I can reset with the home button), it works on vWii and dolphin. My WiiU is BR / US. I tried with a base game euro, same error. I tried with a channel nintendont, game in SD, same error.

The reason for using a euro version: applying a translation in the game, requires this specified version. I have not yet applied this translation, it is not the cause of the problem.

Any tips?
try it on 4:3?

mine is not hacked. I will look into it then. I thought I would not need it with the nintendont channel installed with wup inataller
It would still need a sig patch to open it. So if you have any form of sigpatch it would work. Otherwise it would never open as the sig would be bad.

Because the patch pal50 isn't turned on is what i think. try running it without the autoboot, then turn that on and see.

I have released version 2.1.1 of the script with the following changes:

## [2.1.1] = 2017-09-21
- Script can now be used offline, provided you've run through the script once online successfully (Checks if JNUSTool has already downloaded the needed files)
- PNG Check has been added, so that it will warn you if your PNG isn't valid

I promise I didn't forget about this, just really really low priority. With the new version 2.1.1, the files JNUSTool downloads are retained after usage and not redownloaded over and over, so if you replace the bootLogoTex.tga in the (TOOLS\JNUSTool\Rhythm Heaven Fever [VAKE01]\meta) directory it will be used for your inject. I don't recall the specifications off the top of my head, so make sure that your TGA is the right dimensions with the correct depth or your inject may not even boot.

This should at least work until this is officially implemented.


Knowing I can do it this way is fine. I was having probs finding the files during the make. Probably easier since most wont wanna change the logo anyways! thanks!

I actually did implement custom bootLogoTex into version 2.1.2, I should have tagged you in the post. You can grab the latest version from the OP. Visual example :)
