How do you use these files?
Is there a thread somewhere with instructions?
This sounds great, haven't played for awhile so has no knowledge of apps and stuff that's been released the past months.
They're more or less self explanatory. Have you used PKHeX or PKSM before?

No not PkheX, but familiar with hexidecimals.. lol
PKSM?PokemonSunMoon right? Got like 200hrs playtime..
No PKSM is a 3DS program like PKHeX and I believe has wi-fi wondercard injection (I'd have to check honestly).

PKHeX, you literally just load your save and drag and drop the wondercard if you want the pokemon in your box. Alternatively, you can load the wondercard under the "wondercard" tab in PKHeX and set it as "unused" then you can pick the gift up from the delivery man like normal and you receive the wondercard entry in your album.

Thanks for the answer!

Wow I didn't know we've come so far just in my absence. Those are great features!
Is this safe to use? Any do nots?
I'll read up on them both but it sounds great!

Thanks yet again!

Well I'd personally recommend PKHeX over PKSM just because it's easier to use to for most people, has more functions and supports Gen 1 - Gen 7. PKSM is amazing as well, but it's more for seasoned editors and doesn't support Gen 1-Gen 3.

Both of the programs are completely safe to use, of course they are save editors so there is a chance of corruption, just make backups of your saves before editing them and don't go over board. Some people like to MAX everything, or change things that weren't meant to be changed like X,Y coordinates and end up stuck in a wall or have or their game crash or something Lol.

Wow cool!
Things have come a long way!

Thank you for your very well written response!
Both programs sounds great but I think I'll try PkheX first then, since I really prefer gen 1-3, since I stopped playing after those games. Until I got older ofc. Hehe

Of course I won't go overboard but you better be careful not sending one through Nintendo's servers right?

What do you mean by "sending one through Nintendo's servers"? If you're meaning hacked pokemon, it doesn't matter one way or the other. The game itself has it's own hack checks and will simply refuse to let you use illegal pokemon online. In a previous reply you'll see I admitted to sending countless Shiny Celebi through WonderTrade, and she's most definitely not legal by any means. You can even see my wondertrade history on my official PGL page at Pokemon.com and I haven't even had a ranked battles ban.

Oh forgot to mention PKHeX has it's own legality checker so you don't have to guess about whether or not the game will recognize it as "legit".

Yeah this was one of my concerns, that I'd send one through by mistake. I've sent/gotten hacked pokemons earlier and still not banned or seen any errors.

But it was awhile ago I sent a hacked, it was before the banwaves.

Well like I said, if the game accepts it then it doesn't matter one way or the other. PLus, you can send ANYTHING through local trades, illegal or not Lol.
