Since HGSS already applies donor ROM when save patching fails, both "On" and "Force-use" have the same result.

I finally got Pokemon Soul Silver working by using MKDS as a donor ROM. I feel like that should have been in the doc file because I wasn't aware I needed that in order for the game to work.

For some reason, I'm still getting ARM9 exception errors whenever I press L+R Down and B even after installing SRLoader. I've got a crash dump of the error if it helps.

Recently, I updated my 3DS to Boot9Strap. I followed the guide, but a lot of my apps such as TWloader give this error:


An exception occured

Processor: ARM11
Exception type: data abort
Current process: 3dsx_app

That's the error I get when launching the 3dsx version of TWloader, when I launch the CIA version, it works but when I launch a game (I launched Mario Kart DS) it says this:

Processor: ARM9
Exception type: data abort

Help?

This happens with other apps too and my 3ds also sometimes gives a error saying it cannot be launched from a specific location.

I don't really know where to post this problem and I tried looking it up with no straight answers.

Dude, all you had to do was read back a couple of pages and you'd have seen that it needs a donor ROM

Yoshis Island DS worked in previous bootstrap version but in last released (0.6.0 rev 2) the top-screen turns red after Intro

It's also in the instructions, but I guess you installed TWLoader before the donor part was added to the instructions.

I did, but I went to the list to check for what I needed to make it work

Checking the list, every other game that requires a donor ROM mentioned this requirement. Pokemon HG/SS fails to mention this requirement in order to work. That requirement should be included like every other game.
