Okay, first of this is my PC (Yes it old):
Im trying to play GTA SA. It states that "Could not find Audio Card installed". So naturally I check the readme and it said you need the drivers. So I head to Realtek.com and download it for Windows XP and try to install. It went through and restarted the PC. However it won't work. I check the Sound and Audio devices in control pannel and it shows everything set to none, and I can't change it. I check the Hardware tab and it shows the Realtek HD Audio device and it states it is working properly.
Now I have tried a lot of things to fix it, reinstalled DirectX 9.0, Service Pack 3, Intel GMA 915G chipset drivers, Visual C++, and even tried the audio drivers from Intel them selves (however it will say Driver Version older than PC one) and nothing works. Any ideas?
- Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 (Which is just really Windows XP SP3)
- HP Pavilion a1102n, everything stock
- Intel Pentium 4 516
- Intel GMA 900 (Graphics/Video Chip)
- 512MB of DDR2 Ram
- No internet (since it uses only ethernet and I can't connect it)
- Realtek HD Audio
- ASUSTek Goldfish3 motherboard.
