If you don't own ARMS and want to try it out Nintendo is giving users a chance to play it again. I played it today but called quits just over one match.. ARMS has become such a boring fighting game, imo.

I remember praising it so much but it was all for nothing. :P Sorry that you wasted your money on this game. :(
Yeah I thought it was good too. The game itself was bad enough but when playing on difficulty level 3, you could block and then the second you unblock you are attacked. The NPC's cheat and im crap at online games so i cant play online mode. I know this is probably rage cause im bad at it but the game is shit anyway.

If it had actual playable Nintendo characters it would definitely boost up the sales immensely and interest in general, hell, it would be seen as the "3D Super Smash Bros." game.

I know it's about the arms but if Nintendo takes some liberty to make it way better then who cares.

I still like ARMS very much, i can easily beat the grand prix on the highest difficulty, it just takes some strategy to overcome the CPUs dont think you can just throw random punches around and expect to win the match as movement and reads are very much needed in here like any other fighting game. I'm just waiting for Lola Pop to come in the next update so I can hop back in to the game for some more rounds. It's not the perfect game as it could use a few more modes and I'd also love to know more of the lore but its still an enjoyable game as is both locally and online

But the lore is great! They just got it one day! How could you complain!

But yea it sucks. After playing the demo I didn't think it was worth the purchase. The only good thing to come out of it was the waifus. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I dont throw random punches though, I can beat difficulty 1 and 2 with ease but when I first played them I had no chance. Difficulty 3 is a pain in the ass.

I hated the game to begin with but then absolutely loved. Kinda gone off it a bit as I don't seem to be able to get any better (I'm 12th rank) and it's now beginning to frustrate me. Still I got it for £27 so would say it was definitely value for money.

Even if I had gotten for that price I'd regret. I'm just glad I didn't end up actually getting it.

It's not for me. I like a lot of fighters but this one didn't hook me.

I admire the design and the inventiveness of the general principle, it just wasn't that fun to play in the intended way with the joy-cons, and even less fun on a pro controller configuration where you lose the impact of the gimmick altogether.

During January at the Switch Premiere I enjoyed playing ARMS with the Joy-Cons but for more serious and homey sessions I found the Pro Controller more convenient to use, and quicker to react with than the Joy-Cons. The Joy-Cons are an entertaining way if you're against someone locally but via online I'd always go with the Pro Controller.

ARMS was supposed to be the Mario Kart/Splatoon of 3D Nintendo fighting games but it really flopped hard but hey, maybe "ARMS 2" will do better if Nintendo takes liberty in making it more Smash-like.

Anyway, pre-ordered Xenoverse 2 and will get that instead of ARMS.
