I'm telling you, I had the same issue. On 2 n3ds systems. And I am telling you what I did, how i fixed it. Both of them are crash free. People on IRC said it was"a known issue." Just dev talk for "I don't know." OP everything I said to do, is simple maintenance anyway. Update and make sure the card is free of error. It can't hurt. And it worked for me. On 2 systems. My issues started the day I went from a9lh to b9s, I was on 11.4 and 11.3 when I updated to 89s btw, Just like you.. I would like to add I have hacked over 20 systems. I started with GW on 4.5. I been here for years. You can let people make you give up or you can fix the fucking thing. It IS "a known issue" but it only occurs in a small percentage of users so it's likely not of the utmost of importance to the devs. There is a ton of threads. And my systems work perfectly. I still recommend you check the SD. Take a small shitty SD, put the start up files, and install 1 game on it and see if it crashes. I bet it won't. Or you can sit there and wait. Your call. Don't listen to know nothings who have done nothing.

Just dev talk for "I don't know"

Or, it is "dev talk" for "We know of the issue, but not how to resolve it without user input". People like you are why developers just leave the scene.

I would like to add I have hacked over 20 systems. I started with GW on 4.5.

Thats nice and all, but highly irrelevant. Someone with no experience here at all can have much more experience than you, just undocumented.

You can let people make you give up or you can fix the fucking thing.

You see, that's exactly what I'm trying to do. But uninformed "users" like you continue to be a complete blockage to getting that done. The developers of Luma3DS have specifically requested that users with these crash dumps submit them to the Issues ticket system PROVIDING THE CRASH DUMPS so that they can help determine why we are seeing these crashes and some are not. You can see that here:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/keep-getting-crashes-not-too-sure-what-to-do.478111/#post-7497600

And here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/removing-boot9strap-and-lumacfw-3ds-crashes.477059/#post-7497873

It IS "a known issue" but it only occurs in a small percentage of users so it's likely not of the utmost of importance to the devs.

Now I'm just going to call you stupid. Clearly it IS of importance to the developers. They're reaching out to the community for us to help them, only for people like to to drown them out. It genuinely is no wonder Aurora left.

I still recommend you check the SD. Take a small shitty SD, put the start up files, and install 1 game on it

Then, you typed this abomination. I'm done. You've clearly won my point for me, so I'll just point out that using a "shitty" SD card is absolutely contradictory to previous statements you've made in this thread. Enjoy the ignore list.

OP: Feel free to follow the advice of this user if you must. The only good advice he has given has been to test your SD card for faults. I do recommend following that suggestion, but nothing else.

My systems work perfectly also, the fact that you prattle on saying you know so much tells me you know nothing at all, you know, the empty can rattles the most. All your inane yammering is apparently helping any one. Just saying that you are more qualified than others is laughable, because others could know far more than you. Try not to force your advice down other peoples thoughts, you would have a better chance of helping others that way.

Ill put my responses in the quote.

Or, it is "dev talk" for "We know of the issue, but not how to resolve it without user input". People like you are why developers just leave the scene.

I uploaded a bunch of logs. I was told "We're working on it." Meanwhile no 3ds. I hope people who don't like people leave the scene,

Thats nice and all, but highly irrelevant. Someone with no experience here at all can have much more experience than you, just undocumented.<-- I had the same issue. I just said to try it. I fixed mine. you take you car to the guy with no experience. Go ahead.

And here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/removing-boot9strap-and-lumacfw-3ds-crashes.477059/#post-7497873

Once again I provided the dumps, and asked the OP to do so. READ.

I didn't say not important. I said not of the UTMOST importance. Not top priority. The bug has existed for a while. Still not done. I asked the devs on th EfNet and Rizon and they had a "We'll get to it" attitude. Which is fine. Thier product their terms. But it's NOT top priority. Who the fuck are you trying to kid? Devs leave because they expect people on the internet to be nice. Its the internet. Grow a pair.

Then, you typed this abomination. I'm done. You've clearly won my point for me, so I'll just point out that using a "shitty" SD card is absolutely contradictory to previous statements you've made in this thread. Enjoy the ignore list.

I meant try ANOTHER CARD to rule out the SD you fool. And Believe me I will LOVE your ignore list. You are a jack ass. Picking apart other peoples posts with no real suggestion. You suck troll. Don't respond again. You big baby.

OP: Feel free to follow the advice of this user if you must. The only good advice he has given has been to test your SD card for faults. I do recommend following that suggestion, but nothing else.

Prattle, lol. I never said I knew more, I just said I had this issue and now its gone and to try a few things. Couldn't hurt. It's better than waiting for 3 more months for the issue to be fixed and finding out its the SD.

Get a grip. All these sensitive "people". wicks, bob, you need girlfriends. Maybe you can hook up with each other.

Now here come the GBA SJW brigade to defend the Hippocrates.

Maybe you should start your own gaming website and no one can listen to you there, go back to the mushroom kingdom.

More off subject prattling from the accuser. Still lame. All you is proven is how much of an asshole you really are. OP let us know if you make any changes or headway. Or you can listen to these guys and do nothing. Up to you. Just don't suck like Wicksy and Bob

Where is that IGNORE. I was waiting till I didn't have to read your babble anymore..

You got two hands, use them and fuck off

Ahh your love life method. It may seem normal to you but you are just sad. All that hate and somehow I'll be the one to get in trouble..

Is that on topic? you should change your nick to wickless.. Now go cry, Wickless

OP any news? I am sure it's still not working which is amazing with all these "awesome suggestions" from the "experts."

I really would like to get your system working. I managed to do it on 2 consoles with identical symptoms. No bad can come of tidying up a bit and updating.

They just think its okay for you to wait and have a useless system. And I honestly think that if I fixed mine so can you. If this bug is rare enough that its not fixed yet then it stands to reason, that if you rollback to as close to stock as possible and update everything to the current working up to date software that works for mostly everyone than you would mostly have a shot of it working. Mostly. Maybe its your sources for the system files? I know its a lot of shot in the dark but some seemingly benign detail probably did this. And like I said tidying up is good. Its easy to dump a backup back on the SD when your done testing. Plus if you try a different SD. Any SD. With freshly downloaded software, and it worked, then you know its the card or software on the card. Not the console. It's all logical. By all means upload the dump files as well. Like I said a couple times before. Let them find the ghost in the machine. But if %99 make it work, you can too.

Flash media fails all the time, you should test your SD anyway. Best to back it up at that point. Then you are half way there to format/restore anyway. Formatting and copying back the files will defrag the SD. Sounds reasonable. Maybe delete luma folder and drop a freshly downloaded one in there? Maybe the updater or SD anomaly mucked it up.

Turning off the arm11 exception handler just ignores error, not fixes them. That's like clearing the check engine light before you read the code. Sounds stupid to me. I'd rather fix the fucking thing.

It depends on whether or not it is a fatal error or not. Especially since the "solution" will likely involve reverse engineering and reimplementing at least part of the 3ds system software.

Agreed, but no harm in tidying up and making sure that the solution isn't on his end. It' can take a while to get to the bottom of some of these bugs. I am too impatient to wait and not try.

I have this problem with Retroarch and nothing else. I think the reason it doesn't work is because of arms11, so thanks to wicksand420 for letting us know!
