Hacking [Request] Convert 3ds sav to cia

I have a 3ds .sav that needs to be converted to be cia compatible. I no longer have GW installed so I can't do it myself.

If someone is able to do this I would be more than happy to offer Paypal as long as it works.

The .sav file is for Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King (US) 000400000018F100

Thanks for the quick reply. In the post you linked it asks for a retail cartridge, since I don't have the retail cart or GW I don't think I can use that method

Follow the steps to import it to the CIA since you already have the sav (how did you get the save btw)

From when I was using Gateway, it's encrypted and not cia compatible (to my understanding).

I think it means that it is encrypted from SDF, not gateway.

It's encrypted yes, you need a Gateway card as well as SDF and CFW to convert the save for you. CIAs for that game use ".bin" as save files specifically "honeySave.bin" as it's named Lol.

You must have had a GateWay card if you have the save, if so you can just convert it yourself as per the advice from @blujay . You can still access Gateway if you create a downgraded emunand on 11.2 with some extra files to run it. Granted that seems like a lot, but if you never find someone to convert it for you it's an option. Good luck!
