Maybe this exploit works better if change console system language to English (It was Russian on my console). When I changed language it worked. I used sleepii.ovh and selected "Exploit".

Hi all, I've been successful in self hosting & launching the exploit- screen fades, Homebrew Launcher starts up no problem but doesn't progress past the blue screen with bubbles.

Isn't frozen- the bubbles are moving & HB Launcher music is playing. Shows nothing else apart from the version number in the bottom corner. No menu options at all.

It's the same with both v1.3 and v1.4. Trying to get haxchi, my DS title is ready to go.

Any suggestions?

The fact you said you followed all the guides on here and couldn't get it working is a little worrying as ALL of them said to clear/reset your save data - yet you didn't....

So don't say something doesn't work if you've not followed the instructions properly!!

I've yet to see someone say they've not got the self hosting option working if they followed the instructions myself and others put up previously EXACTLY!!!... the steps are there for a reason!! I'd you can't follow instructions.. don't moan if it doesn't work!!

btw, i followed all of the guides, to the letter, and nothing worked...

until I tried http://cg.stupiid.ovh and used #2, which I've done successfully twice now, and just so happened to work, without clearing any browser data.

As was stated in the first post on this thread, the method is unreliable. one can get lucky and have it work immediately, or one could try over 100 times to get it to work.

It definitely helps to follow directions, just as well as it helps to experiment.

whatever works, i guess.

there's a way to convert them to installable format, but I can't recall the app name. someone else might be able to help there.

if you get hack working without the haxchi you be upset cous you gonna have to do all again, follow this video its on spanish but watch video file and ill be easy to figure how to do the haxhi thing with this one i was able to do it

i see manny games in the tik downloader cant be download at moment, disabled, download button? in wariogame and watch? what else we use as download sources i am looking i mean my kids want specially that one, ty guys

Iinstalled haxchi from appstore but the icon on the system menu is still Dr Brain.

Is there a way of changing it ti the right one? Not important really - it just tidies up a frustrating chapter.

no problem. be careful though as the wii u is more sensitive to manipulation than say the ps3 is. if u don't save the file correctly, u'll get a question mark icon and the game will be unbootable. those r the correct settings though. I changed my loadiine and wup installer icons using those settings.

edit: if that happens, u can correct it with ftpii everywhere, so backup the original icon which will be in the meta folder.

Yesss, now it finally worked for me. Thx to AzerothArg for the brilliant guide (Python 3.5.4 is much easier to handle) and JmpCallPoo for the first Guide.
I had some Problems with blank homebrew screen, filled with bubbles. So i read more guides through the internet to put some necessary files to the app folder, like homebrew store and loadiine.
The most problems i had with self hosting because my internet security software deleted files from the server folder after unpacking. So i got a usb stick, put the packed folder to it and unzipped it there, and i was asked to delete instead of automatic cleaning, and i canceled the cleaning to start the server.
After all i could install haxchi and all works smooth.
