(Sorry I regret the title it's clickbaity and I can't change it) Okay unless there's something totally wrong about this idea, hear me out. What if somebody (here in the Homebrew community) developed a very simple game to be submitted to the eShop, as they allow 3rd party games, but purposefully left in a vulnerability for code execution. I mean, why look for an Exploit when you can just essentially create one. THIS IS JUST A THEORY/QUESTION SO PLEASE DON'T YELL AT ME FOR NOT KNOWING SOMETHING! IT COULD PLAY OUT BE A TERRIBLE IDEA BUT JUST LET ME KNOW NICELY INSTEAD OF CALLING ME AN IDIOT. But seriously would this work? I mean I've seen some pretty crappy simple games, so it would be fairly easy to put a crappy game up. This could be a terrible idea but it's just an idea.

Disregarding things related to legality, you would also need to actually, you know, develop a game. Nintendo has pretty good quality control, and a quickly thrown together game from a new developer would flash warning lights for Nintendo very quickly.

I've seen some games that match that description, especially on the 3DS side of the eShop.

This isn't the first nor second time someone suggested this.

I know you just signed up OP, but next time, maybe using the search engine here is a good idea.
It prevents people from shitposting in your thread and cyberbullying you.

...That is part of Lotcheck which has to be done before a game is published. Read the SDK's publish guides

Pretty sure Nintendo themselves double check that no malicious code could be started from anywhere.

Thanks. IDK how to delete threads though, I've been looking because if this had already been discussed there's no point of this being here.

You can't, only staff can delete threads.
You could report it and ask if you can close it tho.
