In theory, trying to get the latest update via JNUS right now, it's v304 right? Anyone remember the command for it if this doesn't work?
yea i'm constantly refreshing wii-u usb helper like an idiot lol it still shows v288 1.1.6, nice to know it's v304 now i have something to add to my search lol i will post it if i find it, looking for USA update.
O?Just use NNU Patcher then launch the game to download the game update. Simple as that, like any other game udpate.
Keep DNS setup and you're good
The database I assume needs to be updated. JNUS downloader already has it, but when I downloaded it, it downloaded 2.2 GB worth of data. I assume it downloaded more than it needed, isn't there a way to get specific version?
Edit: There is, it seems, using command prompt with JNUS tool.
java -jar JNUSTool.jar (Game ID) v304 -dlEncrypted
Edit 2: Holy hell the size of the update so far..not cool!
It seems someone on this thread found the cureThe update size for such small changes is baffling.. 2.2gb is unacceptable especially since this will be going on system memory since update could be read but not loaded off usb, had to transfer to system memory and after doing that it deleted my full smash game 12gb gone and only update data is there lol, again nintendo continues to sketch me out, shady business practices imo, they discontinued wii-u and stopped repairing wii-u's and then all of a sudden issue a random system update w/smash 4 update. A lot of companies issue late updates to make devices obsolete it's been a known thing in cell phones.

Well, I got the 8 GB Wii U, so I may be screwed. I got that because I use USB for my games. So yeah, I'm screwed.
Gee, thanks, Nintendo.
I may have to make a "backup" on my USB HDD just so I can play it.
Not really a cure when you're cursed with the 8 GB model and have no choice but to go to USB.
Some dude said you can just use NNU
And you still need space for the update, 2.2 GB, which I don't have. I clearly stated lack of space on NAND is an issue. Not much use for me, I have to either clear my NAND somehow, or I install the game, save and update via USB. Preeeetty sure you still need space for the download.
realization
Looking at my NAND, yeah, my Smash Bros data takes up 2.5 GB (just why?), and I somehow only have 486 MB left. Gee, thanks for nothing Nintendo. Now I have no choice but to move my save, install the game on USB and then the update. This is BS. Damn you, Nintendo.
