Well first, B9S is basically the standard right now and has surpassed a9lh in pretty much every way. Updating allows you to use the latest version on Luma CFW (which I know you use because we are friends IRL) and allows you to have hax way faster in the boot cycle than a9lh. Also it's just as stable as a9lh and most people that say otherwise have just not troubleshooted properly. Please see the stickied thread called "You Don't Have To Remove B9S: A proper Guide To Troubleshooting for info on how to troubleshoot.

Games are starting to come out with new encryption, like Ever Oasis, that require newer CFWs to work. So if you are still on A9LH (or something worse,) then are you going to slowly start seeing less games working.
CFWs are dropping support for previous entrypoints, this including Luma and ReiNAND (or most likely future CFWs as well.) Thus you will be missing out on future updates.
Homebrews like GodMode9 are also slowly phasing out older entrypoints.
Cons? None, if you aren't a Brickwait user.
