Hope he accidentally updates his Switch/the work gets corrupted. It's too early for this. Especially "hay look what i got. cool huh? not releasing anything though".

What should he release? He has dumped the kernel not made an actual kernel exploit with code execution....

EDIT: Of course it will be easier to find bugs and exploit them, but y'all shouldn't overhype it.

Great news but its wayy too early. We dont even have a browser on the switch yet :nayps3:

Talking about browsers, i wonder if we could get some browser ports like Chrome,Firefox, Opera or Uc browser? hmmm well the switch is using Nvidia and they do specialize in Android related products so perhaps such a thing could be possible? Most likely Nintendo will give us their own newly created browser. But i would LOVE it if they just could have asked Google too make them a switch version of chrome. It would definitely benefit the end user.

technicly we do have a browser just not a conventional browser, besides, still no code execution so it's not like it's something done by that they could patch, so keep on updating and just wait for when an exploit exists, we dont even know if there will be a browser, but the wii did eventually through shop channel so... ya

Yeah but i am on the latest OFW so i am assuming that its no longer functioning and even if it was. i would rather have an official one

Man i hope the browser will be fast like the interface of the switch itself.

Anything is possible really. By the start of 2018, we never have to buy a Switch game again

Quick question: Ultimately, how would hacked Switch games work on the Switch? Would you guess USB Loaders or via SD Card like the Wii U?

well wouldn't a usb loader work from sd or flash drive, if it was only drive it would be very limiting, btw, we don't know jack shit yet

A USB Loader would work with the USB port on the Switch. We need a homebrew channel first for the Switch and then be able to load it up with the USB Loader along with a bunch of Switch games on an external hard drive.

If Derrick & Co somehow can gets USB Loaders to work on the Switch, that would be a godsend. Don't get me wrong, the SD Card method on Wii U was fine but was a little cumbersome.
Yeah, especially because SD cards seem to cost quite a bit more then flash drives. $50 for a 1TB EXT HDD vs $60+ for a 128GB SD card with decent speed.
