Hello,

I cant get pkmn ntr to work properly since newest luma b9s stuff.

Is there any other project that offers a soft reset bot for shiny pokemon?

It works fine for me. What's the problem?

It wont start combat (mirage spot), unless i select resume bot (when its ask yes/no ingame to start encounter).

And it usually stops after one soft reset i get a black screen after that(that might be a luma issue, but im curious to see how that works for you).

But you do have the NTR CFW debugger activated? Maybe Rosalina messes with NTR in the newest version, you should try the version I've linked to above. Or better yet, try version 8.0, that's the version I'm using and it's working just fine

NTR doesn't automatically run the debugger, you have to bring up the menu after NTR returns to the home menu by pressing X+Y and enable debugger. The rosalina menu works the same way NTR does when it comes to input redirection, debugging processes and screen shots (among others).
My guess it either you aren't enabling the debugger through NTR, or you're using NTR's input redirection with Rosalina's debugging enabled and they might not play nice together.

My advice:
Load NTR
Load the Input Redirection CIA
Press X+Y and enable debugger
Load your game with NFC patches on (You will be disconnected unless you're connected to the internet)
Then connect to PKMNTR

Tip: If you're using an old 3DS with NTR Mode 3, you can't use the reset bot because NTR requires to be restarted each time. Since you're playing ORAS (I assume from mirage spots) you can use regular NTR and it will work fine.

Debugger is enabled by default when i boot up ntr. What do you mean by "Load your game with NFC patches on"?

Well that shouldn't matter with PKMNTR to be honest, it's more for streaming to eradicate interruptions from the game disabling wi-fi.
From the Wiki of the program:
  • This bot may break at random in a black screen after a soft-reset, this problem seems to be from NTR itself and can't be fixed.
  • The loading of the game it's still time-based, because the reconnection is moved after the game is loaded.
  • In the soaring in the sky bots, if you have an encounter with the flying bird pokémon, the bot will break

I know the bot may break at any soft reset.

But it wont even start the encounter when the game ask it to start or not. and not even 1 softreset will happen if i force the encounter myself. results in black screen. I will just wait till theres an update of some sort. thank you for your time though

So I guess you don't want to try using the 8.0 release of Luma?

Both the boot.firm and boot.firm.sha file that you currently have on your SD card. Make a backup of the old ones though (you can just call the old ones boot.firm.sha_old and boot.firm_old and then copy the new ones in the same location)
Those files are in the root of your SD card.

I do notice that before replacing the boot firms i never had a boot.firm.sha, is that a bad thing? :P
