Just install this nightly version, and uninstall the TWLNAND side, as the nightly will install an updated version for you.
After starting the nightly, make sure the bootstraps are up to date.

TWLNAND side only runs in NTR/TWL-mode, so no.
Besides, it's already up-to-date.

No. Both parts of TWLNAND side are hidden DSiWare apps, only used by TWLoader. It can't be seen in HOME Menu or System Settings.
