So I'm very wary of this posting, but the first listing here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-lis...9461363&sr=8-30&keywords=nintendo+switch+grip has the Switch Pro Controller for $24.68 (+ $3.99 shipping) new. That's less than half the official retail price, and coming from a "just launched" seller. Red flags for sure, but I know that Amazon has you covered in terms of fraud, it could be worth purchasing just to see if it works. Would be lame if its the fraud that it seemingly appears to be.

If is a individual seller, they can set the price however they see fit, right? Is not a retail reseller so that is different.

It's probably fake. If it is a new seller without a record, you should be skeptical. Amazon will refund it to you when they don't send it to you.
I bought a slightly used Switch for $230. It wasn't real, and Amazon refunded me, but it took two weeks.

I just bought a switch Gamestop bundle so I went ahead and ordered this. Hopefully it's legit.
Yes its legit. He has direct access to Nintendos supply center and can get it for half the price.
I mean cmon...how desperate do you have to be to believe this could be legit?

100% not legit
This is one of the newest scams on amazon.
a seller post stuff for a crazy price so you buy it they get the funds some how and then amazon refunds you.
If you want something buy it for the retail price.
If you want to get it cheaper then find some one that gets stuff off a back of a truck

OK I won't get my hopes up but I don't even have a switch yet so I don't care if it doesn't come if I get refunded. My switch won't be here till the end of the month. These are always in stock these day's so I'll just pick one up when my console get's here.

Crap, I paid with a cancelled credit card....guess I won't bother fixing it

You could always try Gamestop. My friend got a used controller for $50. Buying used items are kind of a gamble though.

You do see how under it says "Just launched"

Thats 90% a scam.
Either on amazon to get people to pay and they leave them high and dry.
Or to price match in stores. To get a discount

Got mines for $6ship lol.
Had some coupons. It was a pro gamer sells.
So ot was $55 - the sell % which made it like $30 and some change then had my powerup rewards point and got a $25 off.
Paid about $6 cash

Amazon will make sure you get your money back, but this is hella fake. The pure fact the store just launched and their stuff is this cheap? It's too obvious.

It's a scam, they have no intention of sending you the item. They do this to sell off your personal information.

Edit: It's actually a big problem on Amazon, I remember on Amazon.co.uk when I was shopping for graphics cards there was sellers like this for every single card with the price being discounted heavily (£100-300). I'd just recommend never buying from a seller without a reputation.

Same goes with ebay and even G2A, it's a common rule that follows on the internet.
Haven't been scammed on eBay but obviously there are many who have been because they didn't know or didn't read, but in that case, if they use Paypal to pay for it then they've got protection. eBay protection exists too but Paypal lasts for 6 months (excessively long but oh well) so if anything goes wrong, there's that.

It's a dick move if someone uses an item for 6 months and then decides to send it back because it's "faulty" (just doesn't want it anymore).

I agree, hopefully this is not too oftopic, but yes. I've got scammed, but thanks to the protection thing they've got going I was saved, but you shouldn't be idiotic and buy from new sellers just cause...
