i recently lost my copy of Professor Layton and the Curious Village (and Diabolical Box, and Unwound Future, and Azran Legacy--) , and ive been trying my hardest to get another copy somehow. Is there any way to download a free ds ROM off of a site and save it to the home menu of a 3DS? I'm a complete noob, so simple instructions and links to reputable websites would be an absolute lifesaver.

another note - I have no money to purchase emulators or micro SDs, all i really have is my laptop and the SD card that came with the ds. They're compatible, but i realise that isn't very helpful.
I've had this 3DS for five years, so anything that will wipe the memory is NOT AN OPTION.

thank you so much!

no, is impossible to convert ds to 3ds, but what you can do if you have a cfw is have an nds forwarder on your home menu, but only if it's a compatible rom

do you have any recommendations for easy to install/free custom firmwares?
