i came into the custom firmware scene only recently!
i had an old 3ds collecting dust and i was only keeping it due to it being loaded with all the old ambassador games i got many years ago!
stumbled upon custom firmware and my 3ds got a new lease of life! so much so i decided i wanted a "NEW" 3ds.
now this is where i was stupid, firmware didnt even come to mind when i upgraded my old one, mainly due to it being old and not updated for years so it was easy to follow the "3ds guide" and fully loaded it..
my new 3ds is on latest fimware i did a system transfer from old to new, for some reason never deleted old 3ds sd card though. it was only after doing this did i read how to install custom firmware onto a new 3ds and i could have kicked myself, i had the old system as requested, zelda 4 swords installed and could have installed it on my new 3ds but didnt.... :-(
my question is (although i think your going to say no) i have the old sd card which was set up for custom firmware etc (as never deleted it), can i amend/add files to this remotely (all pc based mainly the god mode parts) or did it need to be done whilst still having the old 3ds to be able to do parts within godmode?
i feel like an idiot!!
