I don't think you get how it works. Haxchi exploits a bug in the DS emulator. Since this bug wouldn't exist in the NES emulator, a new exploit would need to be found.

Technically, haxchi was developed for ds, but iirc smealum did say something about it being possible to run under other vc.

Specifically the N64 if I'm correct. Still would need to fix the code and compile it for N64.

Afaik it would require completely new code, not just a fix. Which is probably why it hasn't been done yet.

If it is the same exploit, then maybe not much changes would need to be made. Otherwise, yes it would be from scratch.
