So, I just went in to homebrew stuff, I accessed homebrew with soundhax everything worked fine. Until I followed a guide on 3ds.guide and failed something. I deleted everything from my sd and deleted everything from my ds (Factory settings or what it's called). I had to keep a boot.firm file from the luma3ds file to keep my 3ds device running, if I boot up my 3ds now I get a Luma3ds configuration menu, and it creates a luma folder on the root of my sd, now I want to use soundhax again like before and I installed everything, placed everything right on my sd. But I get an error everytime. have the Luma3ds thingie do something so I cant acces homebrew and how do I fix it?
Im on 11.3.0-36E

Um...

Why not just use the homebrew launcher app?

Doesn't work, my luma folder only has a config.bin in it, following the tut their has to be a payload folder to. Just to remind you, I completely f*cked up the first installation of luma so it didn't work. And I can't acces homebrew now to install luma or something like that.
Okay, just saying you fucked up the installation doesn't help me any with what might actually be wrong. What did you do to mess it up?

Also, it's okay if you're missing that folder, just make one and put it in that.

Uhm the last step went wrong, I was in the luma configuration menu, I had to put something on their but I didn't, it closed and then I couldn't acces homebrew anymore with soundhax. So I want to my sd folder and deleted everything that I put on it for the luma installation. (So The soundhax was still on it), But I had to keep the boot.firm from the luma folder to keep my 3ds running.

ok so don't follow https://3ds.guide/updating-b9s because you should already be up to date.

Deleting all of the files off of your SD card isn't actually that bad necessarily, as long as you have a NAND backup. Even if you don't, It's not gonna brick or anything.

Now, what do you mean by "it went horribly wrong"? That isn't specific enough for me to help you.

First, I don't even know what a NAND backup is so I probably don't have one.
And it just went wrong because I couldn't enter homebrew again after I failed to enter something in the luma configuration menu.
Maybe it's good for you to know that the only thing what is left on my sd-card now is the boot.firm (from the luma folder) so I can turn on my 3ds, nothing else beside that. I tried to just install the soundhax things but I got an error on a black screen, the crash log is going into the luma folder (This one is created when I turn on my 3ds, it loads the luma configuration screen which creates the luma folder).

Ok so follow the "finalizing setup" link I sent you, or try to anyways, and we'll go from there.

This won't work, I haven't got the B9S folder thing. (which won't work cause I can't acces homebrew now)

Are you sure you're following this?:

https://3ds.guide/finalizing-setup

If you are, then just make the folder yourself.

I followed that one,
But for that I need to have done this one good: https://3ds.guide/installing-boot9strap-(homebrew-launcher)
But I didn't failed on the last step, so if I want to make that folder and make it work correctly I need to do these steps, which I can't cause I can't acces homebrew, that's the key of the process. (correct me if im wrong)

The fact that you've booted into the Luma config menu means that you've done something right.

If you aren't sure you did everything you need to in that step, just hold down the Select button as you power om your 3DS. It should boot up the Luma Config menu.

The thing is, you don't actually need to start from that point, afaik. Everything you need to do in terms of setting up the SD card should be on the page I've linked.

Not to derail, but do you have FBI installed?
If so, install the .cia in https://github.com/yellows8/hblauncher_loader/releases and you should be good to go

Wait a minute, we can say "fuck" on here? I thought that was against the rules?

(Grumpy Old Man Voice) I have been holding my tongue for the children for nothing!
