Currently running Luma 7.1 + B9S on both of my O3DSs. No emuNAND and both sysNANDs are on 11.2 firmware. What is the best course of action for me at this point? What do I lose if I upgrade the CFW sysNANDs to the latest firmware? I want to be able to play online.

You can't have two sysNAND :rofl2:. You lose nothing from updating, but if you have 2 sysNANDs, it means you have an emuNAND

Nothing really, if you have B9S+Luma, with the exception of being able to use ctr-httpwn to go online while on 11.4, if they release a version of 11.5 that breaks things.

Sorry LOL. I meant that both consoles' sysNAND is on 11.2 CFW. I just upgraded them from A9LH to B9S and updated Luma to 7.1 as well. Now unsure what to do.

Edit: Also, is there any way to confirm I have B9S now? The install was so quick and I'm not 100% if it even worked. But I am able to boot after deleting the A9LH files.

very very very off-topic: Just use a github page to host your spinning shell

On-topic: Testing for B9S is as simple as pressing Start+Select+X on startup to dump boot9.bin, boot11.bin, and otp.bin. If these end up in the boot9strap folder you have it installed

Your best option is to make NAND backups of 11.2, and then upgrade to 11.4. That way you have the benefits of using 11.4, while always having 11.2 to fall back on.

Ignore my last post. If you press Start+Select+X on startup you should dump otp.bin, boot9 and boot11

On-topic: OP you really do have an emuNAND unless you magically have two sysNANDs, which is physically impossible

Please read my comment above. I do not have two sysNANDs on one console, but rather two consoles with only sysNAND.

Great idea. I can't for the life of me remember how to make NAND backups though. The last ones I made were so long ago. How do I do this now with B9S/LUMA?

https://3ds.guide/godmode9-usage

Hold Start to boot into Godmode9, press Home > More... > Backup NAND
