Homebrew How to transfer boot9strap onto another sd card.

Any ideas? I want to transfer my stuff to a 64 gig card with fat32 format. When you copy paste the stuff from a sd card to another, there is hidden content inside the card that you cannot access. Since its boot9strap i'm not sure how to transfer it to another card while keeping my hacks and game dat. Please help

I always thought unless you have emunand, you just copy and paste stuff over (enabling hidden folders if anything).

Just copy and paste all the content from one SD to another. B9S is installed directly to the system itself and only really uses the SD card to boot the CFW (unless you copy the CFW directly onto the CTRNAND)

Only emunand is hidden, you should be able to copy it all with no issues

I tried it, apparently my home menu doesn't show my badges and has a bunch of corrupted applications. If I cant find a way to get the apps working I may have to start installing everything again. Ill just use JKSM to move my game dat....

yeah tried image tool, wont let me use partition due to a system error?!?!?!

Fix that with this http://www.partition-tool.com/download/epm-trial-download.htm to free up your partition again.

thanks ill try that but I don't think it will work, ill just redownload everything with fbi apparently my system got banned from nintendos rage spree wait.... how the heck am I going to retrieve my official badges?!?!?!?! Uh oooooooh

Though this guide is intended for emuNAND, it has no problem with sysNAND.

Used it on 8 N3DS XL and 1 3DS XL just fine.

That's pretty surprising. Did you make sure to properly format the target SD card?

Yeah, the part when I tried to kill the partition failed, although the card was another format I used terminal to force it to a fat32 format.

What I've done each time for formatting the target card is: (credits to iCEQB)
Try formatting it with SD Formatter V4.0 - Full Erase - Overwrite

Then, restore via USB Image Tool (step 5 and on)

Otherwise, you may want to check your target SD card for errors.
