While searching stuff about the banwave i have found on an italian forum a guy who said that you can unban yourself by editing the ram with the plugin ram explorer (you have to do it every time you boot), i was wondering if that's true and if someone could make a plugin that does that automatically when you start NTR

Sounds like a pretty good way of getting your NNID banned, if that's something you care about. Just switching to a random id every time you reboot your 3DS...

If it can persist the same "random" value across reboots, until the next time you get banned, that might be a good solution. I'd just be happy being able to do this at all, even if it has to be done every reboot. It's better than trying to track down an unbanned 3DS.

Lucky me, haven't been banned (at least yet!)

If the plugin reads an ID from a config file you could keep it and change it only if you get banned again (install the plugin, write an ID in the config, boot)

we need a permant fix, really.
If this works and someone makes a plugin you would only have to boot NTR when you want to play online (a permanent solution would be better but if you don't have a second 3DS this is better then nothing)

And it can probably importerted to a CFW if so.

Sounds risky.I have a backup of my systems, banned seed that I could reinject but I'm using a seed from a unbanned 3ds currently.Im not quiet shure if this could harm the system though, even with a NAND backup it could permanently damage the 3ds.

No... with a NAND backup you'll be fine.

although "editing the ram" every time you want to play online seems like it isn't worth the effort if it actually works at all

If someone makes a plugin that automatically edits the ram where needed you would only have to start NTR

I'm not good at italian but I think I know how to do this. Then again, I'm waiting to see if this is a tempban first. Since some people at a latino community fb page got unbanned after 24 hours after removing their CIAs, HB etc.

I tried with NTR 3.2. 3DS didn't freeze, but i was still banned. This method doesn't work
