Homebrew Boot9Strap/SigHax Install Success Rate

@everyone - there are no bricks using SafeB9SInstaller and boot9strap, and I bet you to proof me otherwise. Everyone who disagreed in the vote didn't actually brick, but didn't pay attention in one way or another. These "bricks" are fully fixable by quickly consulting @Plailect's troubleshooting page (or by paing attention in the first place).

This may sound overconfident to you, but I actually do know what I'm speaking about (obviously). The only way you'd brick is by malicious intent, i.e. modifiying boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha before install. You'd have to modify in a very specific way, one that will never happen by file corruption, and one that no noob with a hex editor will manage to do accidentially.

So i used the bootstrap9 installer and managed to install it on all 4 of my consoles, no problem. Also i like the new godmode9, it has so many cool features, I was just curious, with all the additional features added to the new godmode update, does it mean is even less reason to have stuff like decrypt 9 and hourglass? I noticed that godmode doesn't need those aeskeys or xor keys or whatever to extract or decrypt any cia files, but does it mean that GBA save data injection/dump also works the same? :)

No reason at all to use D9WIP or HG9 anymore, GM9 can do everything these tools can, and it can do everything better. GBAVC save injection works via the gbavc.sav file in S:/, and yes, it works the same way.

Installed SigHax from ARM9Loader on my N3DSXL, worked fine. Also installed to an o3DSXL running 7.2.0 via the browser, also perfectly fine.

Congratulations, it's only ten minutes of work to update because of that.
I just updated to B9S and it was actually much quicker then that and even got my Gateway card working with the new B9S. So I changed my tune to a positive one.

I have a problem, rayman 3D (american) crashes... it can take 15 o 30 minutes but in one moment the game crashes.
This start to happend after install sishax.

I don´t know if this is the place for report this.

Success updating a weird fucked-up GW/A9LH hybrid (with a custom stage1 that can boot several stage2 from the early days of GW A9LH before GW actually made their own arm9loaderhax.bin) to B9S:

What I used before was an earlier version of this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-three-stage-2.429303/
Which could load arm9loaderhax.bin, a9lh/arm9loaderhax.bin, and launcher.dat depending on the button pressed.
Pretty fucked up setup overall, I kept it around because it worked and I wasn't sure if just updating to a newer A9LH would brick me or something. But installing B9S went smoothly and I'm glad to be rid of that gimped setup.

Updated. Still gotta install BootCtr9 to get GW functionality back but that's the easy part :P
If you do get it done could you show your configuration?
I get the configuration is wrong error. I think I messed up somewhere for loading GW. For now I am able to use Luma to load the GW payload.

Had a stock n3DS XL on 11.2 firmware. Did the B9Strap install and it went well (except for the fact that I forgot how to clear save data on my OoTHax) - no, I didn't use Soundhax because it's messy and I don't like having to clear stuff off the sd card. GodMode9 is slightly user unfriendly because it looks scary, but I took my time doing that.

Will update all three of my A9LH installations tomorrow. Probably need to redownload Fieldrunners off of the eshop to set it up again to use as a sudokuhax thing as well.

I can confirm 4 sucessful B9S installations.

I can also provide proof in some way.
