The card is 64 Gb. I formatted it, and now the PC reads it only as a 32 Gb memory... and I still can't access it.

Why do people even use rednand anymore? CBHC is so much better, and it only requires that you buy one ds vc from nintendo for 7 bucks. And you can use your sd for more than just a nand!

exactly! but i think by CBHC you meant CFW. it is literally the same thing as rednand except it is for your current nand, and only requires $7

CBHC is ColdBoot HaxChi and was made by the great fix94, it is a cfw but it is also so much more than that. Its like haxchi but it auto patches all syschecks on boot making it so people don't have to boot into cfw every time they want to play one of there eshop or vc games.

I know. I use it. I was just explaining to him generally the idea of CFW, not particularly the best one (CBHC)

How exactly am I supposed to know when the SD card is reformatted? I turn RedNand and SkipMenuOnBoot on in Mocha, press A, and get booted to the home menu, but neither my SD card or USB have been reformatted.

you are limited in the number of game installs for the sd card, but it should accommodate any game (think the largest wii u game is a little over 25GBs). you can't make a NAND backup of the mlc either. other than that, there's no issue with using one that size.

no. you'd need a 64GB card minimum since an image of the flash is created.
