I have a normal wii that I homebrewed with Mastermod. I have added Wii games Gamecube games, Snes Genesis and Nes games. When I go to wiiflow I have covers for Wii games and Gamecube games because I let the system download them but for SNES, Nes, and Genesis I cant get any of them to add the covers I added manually. I cant tell what Im doing wrong. I matched the names of the games with the png files and have the png files with the exact same names. I tried changing the extension of the png files to smc and tried putting them in different locations but no matter what i do i just see ?s instead of covers.

go here - https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflowiki4/plugins-setup

and scroll down to Adding roms and covers

read everything under that heading. especially the part about the coverfolder and renaming. if you do all that and they still don't show up then you you need to reload the cache. on the home menu is the button for reload cache.

Thank you but I had already read that and was still confused. I found out what the problem was not long ago. I didnt realize I had to add the extension to the end of the png filename without changing it from a png. So for my zip files covers I had to put for example (game name).zip.png for each png file. Now its working.

I see it now. I guess I got thrown off because it had a Nintendo 64 game as the example. Most of my roms were in zip so I searched the page for zip as the main ext and didnt see it so I assumed it wasnt what I was looking for. I did see it in filetypes but I was just searching too fast. I was searching a lot of pages at the time so I was trying to zoom thru them. Im trying to do genplus too. I havent tested them yet but I added sg md ms and gg to those files. Should it be wiiflow/boxcovers/genplus/MD and so on and so on.

according to mastermod's genplus-gx_md.ini all your genplus covers should go in wiiflow/boxcovers/genplusgx
