I am with 3ds with the following problem:
- menuhax has stopped working, does not boot into emunand or homebrewlauncher. (Yes, still using menuhax)
- Has two folders into "Nintendo 3DS" folder.
- I can not even access the save of my games to migrate to A9LH and Luma.

3DS LX with rxtools, sysnand 11.0.0.3 U. I can enter the homebrewlauncher via soundhax, but when I enter the rxtools, black screen. It looks like my emunand was gone. If I go to homebrewlauncher > save manager, no games appears on the screen to save.

I try 3DS: Multi EmuNand Creator, but show Emunand not available.

This 3ds is from my cousin, I did the installation of emunand and menuhax a year ago. Everything was working normal, boot on emunand, games and etc.

But yesterday he brought 3ds to me, because he has this problem, someone updated sysnand by mistake. Anyway, I can still get into rxtools via soundhax > HBL, but only a black screen.

If you are correct with it being on 11.0 then you can downgrade back to 9.2 and get emunand working, though I would recommend using 3ds.guide to install a9lh
But based on the fact that this probably happened recently, I would guess you need to double check sysNAND firmware version

sysNand version 11.0.0-33U.

So can downgrade solve? Only that? I plan to switch to luma+a9lh, but would like to make a backup of saves of the games.

Actually you can use fasthax and safehax to load your cfw on 11.0 afaik. But it's a terrible way to do it when you can instead downgrade and install a9lh

Downgrade is possible on version 11.0.0-3? I need first recovery my emunand, after I can install a9lh

Your emuNAND shouldn't be lost. It should still be on your SD card, with your saves and all. You just don't manage to boot it but it should still be here. You do not need to make a backup of saves, you'll get everything back once you manage to boot to that emuNAND. Just don't be an idiot. Don't format your SD Card, this kind of stupid things.

Try booting Luma instead of rxTools. Maybe you updated to 11.4, and rxTools can't boot that. This could prove that your emuNAND still works and all.
Then reinstall menuhax or just switch to a modern setup with a9lh (you'll have to go through steps anyway to get stuff in working order again, so why not the ones that lead to a better setup than the previous one?).

calm down dude, I'll not format anything.

Luma get a blank screen too. Before switching to a9lh, the saves need to be safe.

Installing a9lh doesn't touch emunand. So as long as you don't format the card you can install a9lh and then boot to emunand with it. But if you really want to be sure just back up the emunand onto your computer. I know there is a tool that can do it straight from pc but I don't remember it's name

I tried two tools for windows and the emunand was not detected.

how many partitions are there on your sd card?
can you paste a screenshot showing up the partitions?
can you perhaps run diskmgmt.msc and take a screenshot?

He gave it to the kids to play, and when he got back he had this problem.

In the explorer two partitions appear, and whenever I insert the sd in the pc, it asks to format one of the partitions.

That first partition is the emunand, it is there. Don't format it. Just extract it using an appropriate tool.

PS: I suppose you could even extract it by hand using something like dd (Unix), I am not sure what you use on Windows, but look for it, it must exist.

There's no calming down when I'm not angry. And I'm not saying you're an idiot or anything, just that we've seen enough people panicking and doing this kind of dumb things so I'm warning you that this won't solve anything. If you're not an idiot, good, this warning was useless for you but could have been useful for someone else.

To backup your emuNAND without a PC, you could probably also load Decrypt9 (or tools like that) on your 3DS.

Using Windows :P The tools I used did not detect emunand

Decrypt9 or any homebrew are not working, when I open Decrypt9, it back to the homebrew menu.

I did it with safehax. All the games are there. And now, how to proceed?
https://3ds.guide/
I would do the whole process using a different SD card, just to be sure you keep that one safe.
In the end, after all is done and luma and a9lh installed, I will just copy the relevant files back to the original SD card, that is luma files etc., and run from the emunand.
