Hacking Should I Update?!?!?!!11

So i have a LoZ N3DS XL sitting on 11.2 or 11.1 firmware. Which ever one required me to use my other 3DS and DSi ware to mod it. I'm running AL9H and Lumas on it. Should I do the firmware update to the latest version. Any cons for updating or any cons for not updating? Thanks

If you make a NAND backup, you can update. The only downside really is that it patches soundhax and ctr-httpwn, iirc.

You can make a new one using godmode9 or decrypt9, preferably the former.

Soundhax is a homebrew entrypoint, and ctr-httpwn lets you go online without updating.

ah I will probably make use of ctr-httpwn then if i can go online with my current FW. Thats really the only benefit i saw, was going online.

Kind of on topic still. My A9LH and Luma is pretty old, and there is a new way to install all the stuff it looks like. Is this something I just redo or am i fine as is? Would like to clean up my system / SD card aswell

you can update A9LH and Luma pretty easily

just replace the arm9loaderhax.bin file on the root of your sd card to update luma.
