Hi
I'm on FW 2.0.0,
I've have blocked the following URL's in my router:

sun.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net
beach.hac.lp1.eshop.nintendo.net

This allows me to access the Australian eshop, and stops the switch asking me to update the firmware.

However, I wanted to checkout the japan eshop so i followed a tutorial and created an account.
But when i click the eshop it eventually gives an error and says "Cannot connect to the server. Please try again later".

Is anyone else experiencing this error?
Is there a fix for this?

Thanks in advance!!

I haven't tried connecting to any foreign eshops, however I was blocking system update with fiddler and now it seems something is not working, I am prompted to update software and must restart in order to enter eshop. perhaps related?

edit: nope, im stupid and unchecked the enabled rules box. sorry everyone. was panic mode

still works fine for me on 2.0.0. try it again without blocking those addresses maybe?

Thanks I'll give that a go when I get home tonight.

How do you connect the the eshop without blocking the addresses?

Do you use fiddler or just click the eshop really fast after you launch the system?

Can confirm turning off fiddler then restarting your switch and loading the eshop right away works

removing the 2 blocked url's:
sun.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net
beach.hac.lp1.eshop.nintendo.net

and restarting the switch allowed me to access the japan eshop, now i can access it even if i have the url's enabled.
Just seemed like it was required to be disabled for the first time.

Just use the DNS mentioned here: http://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-hacking-homebrew-discussion.464282/

You can still access all eShop regions etc. but you'll have to reboot your Switch everytime.
