Homebrew fs open file failed error

That's exactly what I did I've been using the HBL using loadiine.ovh loading v1.4. Everything is working fine up to now until I installed the homebrew channel like you said version 2.1 used the sig. patch ended yp installing fine and I even had a put in the app directory the other part of it and it showed up on my screen so I want to tap it and then also froze and gave me an error code so I uninstalled it went back to my usual loadiine.ovh with this time I was in for a surprise I got a black screen with this error which said: FSOpen file error We need to find out what this is because this is going to affect other people

You should only panic when you see System Error message on your screen.
Other than that, nothing too scary, Wii U is fragile console so you should really try your best not to screw anything up.
Report back if it works.

Whoops wait a second I forgot I can't load loadiine.ovh that's where I get the error so how my gonna load the homebrew channel through the apps???

What DNS did you set up?

Try a different SD card. This is not a new error. If you search you'll see many posts about this on here.

Did you copy the rpx file to your HBL directory? The channel needs this

I'll bet your missing your rpx file. Here (straight out of the guide you said you read)

3. Extract contents of the RPX zip file to the root of your SD
4. Extract the contents of the HomeBrew Launcher Channel zip file to the "install" folder on the root of your SD.
5. Launch HBL using CBHC, HaxChi, or BrowserHax.
6. Launch Homebrew App Store
7. Download WUP Installer GX2 to your SD using Homebrew App Store
8. Go back to HBL
9. Launch WUP Installer and install the files you copied to SD:\install

I'll bet your missing your rpx file. Here (straight out of the guide you said you read)

You don't need RPX file. It works without it and is included with HBLC.

You must buy DS VC game for Haxchi [It has to be legit signed] and you will basically have CFW on one tap and HBL on second.

So @iLL wiLL posted a thread here talking about some "Zhang Loader".

I tried to help said user by asking for further clarification on what he/she was trying to do. User pulled a fit and was upset that I wasn't helping.

Now I see a merged post.

I'm assuming you were able to extract from the user that he/she wasn't running CFW? Does that about cover it?

Edit: okay read through both merged posts. Looks like the user couldn't get the HBL channel to work (no CFW) and so he/she removed all files for HBL from the SD card. Then the user removed the channel and tried to boot HBL using browserhax. Of course it didn't work because the user removed all the HBL SD files.

Some advice for @iLL wiLL ,

1. You're problem was user error and not being educated on what you were trying to do. The HBL channel requires Custom Firmware (CFW). If you aren't running CFW then it won't work.

2. HBL through browserhax won't work if you delete all the files on SD for HBL.

3. Don't assume that everyone needs to be "made aware" of an issue just because you didn't follow instructions. Every guide I know of and even the OP for HBL Channel specifies that it requires CFW to work.

4. Most importantly. Proof read your posts. Does it read like something you've read in say a news article? Is it clear and concise or does it read like an angsty teenager stressing over how much video game time he has?

People want to help. It's hard when your posts are complete nonsense and unreadable. Also, punctuation and grammar are your friends.

HBLC and Homebrew Channels only launch if you're in CFW environment. If you're not, they will hang whole Wii U.
Either buy a compatible DS VC game and don't worry about anything or stick with endless browserhax. [You can follow wiiubru.com/guide and my redNAND-free guide]

Make sure your Haxchi game is legitimate, bought from eShop.
Also, it's not my site. I worked with pwsincd to make it a thing

Ok I'm following your guide I blocked the DNS servers and it worked great so far so good now the main thing is I just want install the homebrew channel on the Wii U and oh I forgot to tell you just one other issue for some reason the eshop we games don't display on the TV I have no idea what the problem is

eShop games? Do you mean in eShop app or?
