I've tried everything, Gateway Card, MT Card, RxTools, Freeshop, buying it normally from the eShop.
Everything results in a big steaming pile of CRASHING
How do I make it work

If it's the DS EWJ game, you probably didn't install the AGB & DS files on emu (if you use it) and sys. Just assuming you followed the guide, but didn't go to the troubleshooting section.

Update, that's it. But first, what CFW do you have?
Im just using the DS profile entry point with a Gateway card so that I have access to both space on the microSD card in the Gateway card & access to space in the SD card as well as access to the cheat finder, memory viewer, and other things. As far as I know there is no CFW. It is just the patches the launcher GW uses

You should really install Luma, go to 3ds.guide and follow the instructions (you may need to cart update sysNAND though)

@Dionicio3
updating doesn't fix everything every time.

@ILYS
Try going to 'the guide site' and check the troubleshooting section for DS/GBA. You should find the files you need and the steps to fix the issue.

I told him do update to follow 3ds.guide, and you can say it's name

Look into that; very worth it.

I just use guide or iso when referring to 3-D sites. Unless you meznt something else that can't be named?

Any differences between the dsiware version and the original versions of the game? If not than it's much easier to just play the sega genesis/megadrive version of the game.
