Hardware New 3ds XL circle pad replacement

Yes, its quite easy too.
Just get the replacement part, disassemble it and replace it.
i watched a youtube video by ifixit and it left me confused. They said something about its ribbon cable being wrapped around its self of something and it being really difficult to get to.

If its just the circle pad piece itself, just pop it out and pop the new one back in place.
If its the whole circuit board then just remove the ribbon and attach the new one.

If its the whole circuit board then just remove the ribbon and attach the new one.
i want to replace the entire circle pad
P.s. sorry if i sound stupid im not good at this kind of stuff

Then all you have to do is get the new replacement circuit board and replace it, there's a ribbon that connects the circle pad to the n3DS's motherboard, just carefully remove that and attach the new one.
Then just pop the new circle pad onto where the old one was, reassemble it and you're good to go.
