Hello, i really want a 100% save file of super mario maker for 3ds, the mario challenge is way too tedious, if anyone has a link, please send it to me.

Okay, I can technically give it to you, BUT I don't know it'll work. I once switched SD Cards and Super Mario Maker 3DS gave me an error.

Dude, stop being so impatient and at least say please when you say "give it to me." Give them time. In order for the save to work, you will also need to import the extra data.
Sorry, by no means was i trying to be a douche. It's kinda late night, the "please" is in the title and in the entire thread. Yeah, figured i needed the extdata.

Wouldn't the extdata only be for the courses created by the user? Doesn't seem that important if he's just looking for a 100% save.

this isn't the kind of save file i know how to use, i cant seem to locate it on my sdcard through jksm
I use a different save file manager but it's an SDK so I can't share it. I rarely use JKSM but it's much more efficient than anything else out there. Try dumping your save and follow the path from there, learn how it works.

So, you can't even tell me the name so i can locate it somewhere on the internet without providing the link?

Well, there are two ways.

1) Create a backup with JKSM, go to that backup, and delete the "Progress" in the folder. Paste the one I provided in the backup folder, then import it.

2)
• Use FBI and copy the selection file.
• Then go to Super Mario Maker in the Titles, then tap Browse Save Data.
• <current directory>, Delete all contents, then Paste.

This should work for you. It works for me.

I did that, and now mario maker is stuck on preparing save data.

I can't believe you got me with that

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive

    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
