Wich folder contains rednand? I know its on my sd, but i cant access it through ftp.. is it even possible to naviguate through the redNAND files in ftpiiu everywhere? For exemple: game files installed while in rednand..
If we can see it through frp, whats the name of the folder?

You can use SDIO NAND Manager to extract hidden redNAND partition from SDCard to your PC.

Ah ok thats interresting! I will definitly try it.
..but what i wanna do, is actually to 'manage' files in the rednand, but through ftp.. but i think its not possible..
For exemple: managing system files from the rednand.
Is it something that could be updated in ftpiiu everywhere, so that we can navigate in the sd's rednand partition?

Yes, but can i see the files of the rednand in ftpiieverywhere? Because i can see the system files on the nand, bu they most be the console's files and not rednand i think..
That's supposed to be the point of redNAND. If you're booted into redNAND then the system files exist in the emulated nand on the SD. Go ahead an mess them up royally. Just make sure you're in redNAND and you have your redNAND backup ready to go.

Just launch FTPiiU everywhere and it will look exactly the same as sysNAND.
Install two more titles to sysNAND so you can verify which NAND is which.

You're not understanding me. If you boot to redNAND and you use ftp the "system files" that you see through ftp are not the sysnand. They are redNAND. Because you're booted to an emulated nand anything that would normally affect the sysnand is now just affecting your hidden partition on the SD.

I gotta say, if you aren't that familiar with redNAND you better stop messing with system files. I smell a brick coming on.

Nah dont worry i wont brick and i will not stop, its the fourth wiiU i buy and its for modding. i know what i am doing, and when i dont, i ask ;)
And this is how i am getting familiar wïh rednand, i cant be familiar with it without testing it and learn.
Your smelling sense is not good.. that why i'm a cat and you're just a dog :P

Anyway, the reason i didnt understand you, is because i tought i would actually 'see' the nand system files directly when navigating inside the sd, while in ftp.
I want to make sure i understand, youa re saying that even in ftp, while on rednand, the files i see inside the nand's folders (storage slc etc etc..) will all be redNAND, even if i'm not in the sd's branch folders?

EDIT- sometime i explain badly, so to specify: when i am in redNAND, and i launch ftpiiuEverywhere, i will not see any 'real' system files, right?

Right.

You won't see the nand file as files on SD. It's already running redNAND from the hidden partition on your SD. The ftp program and the Wii U see it as an actual system nand and display it that way though you and I know it's running off SD

Nice! Thanks for the clarifications ;)

I understand better now, but i still wanna ask one last thing just to make sure:
While in redNAND+ftp, i now understand that every folder i see, is actually the 'fake' nand, but are we 100% sure there are not even 1 folder that point to the real nand? (i kinda know the answer but just wanna make sure lol.. sorry for my insecurity :P )

Thanks for your time!
