Hello,

I read this forum for a while now but i never created an account, so this is my first thread.
I am actually trying to uninstall a9lh but nothing seems working.
I installed it yesterday following the 3ds.guide tutorial. I got an old 3DS XL that was on ver 6.1.0 with browser before.
I want to uninstall because i want to be able to back on a clean 3DS at any time. (yeah i know, why would you even uninstall a9lh ???! I know it's dumb but i just want to back to a clean 3DS so i can redo it maybe in one year when i will probably sell it).
So after finishing the guide i could install some cia games and everything was working nicely.
What i did to try to uninstall:
1- The version was Sys 11.4.0, i did "reformat console" from system settings, but it seems it did nothing ?
2- I followed 3ds.guide Section IV - Restoring the system. Now my console is on Sys 6.1.0
3- I started SafeA9LHInstaller, and pressed Start to uninstall, but i got an error (see attached image).

I searched everywhere about this error but i can't find anything, i don't understand what it is.
If someone can help me please, i am a little lost, this is all new to me and i don't want to break my console.

Thank you ! :D

Use safe a9lh. Then just Unistall it. But there is a risk of bricking the console. Plus it's better to keep a9lh anyway. But each to their in I guess.

But this is what i tried, i got the error showed on the attached image: "Error: more than one FIRM cxi has been detected"

If you restore you nand that was made from before a9lh, it will be stock again. If you update from there, a9lh is currently not a possibility to reinstall. I would keep the a9lh personally.

I am sorry i don't understand.
Actually i restored my nand using godmode9 Restore (safe) but i didn't update it, so i could keep it on Sys 6.1.0. I think if i can remove a9lh i will be back to Ver 6.1.0 right ?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

ok i am reading the source code of the fork of Safe29LHInstaller, and it seems i got 2 .tmd and 2 .app in 1:/title/00040138/00000002/content
and it's the case in nearly every directory in 1:/title

The "safe" restore option keeps a9lh intact. Just keep a9lh. You may regret uninstalling and there is no downside of keeping it...

i know, i know i am dumb as hell. I just wanted to know how all this works exactly. I succesfully uninstall a9lh and now i am back to Ver 6.1.0 !
The problem was the same as this one: https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting#gw_fbi . Hopefully everything is open source :D
Now i am gonna try to reinstall everything.
And yeah there is no real reason why i wanted to uninstall just to reinstall it. As i said i just want to fully understand how it works and be able to back to a clean 3ds at anytime

You could have troubleshooted your problems without uninstalling A9LH. You're lucky nothing went wrong. Having A9LH gave you brick-protection in case you did something stupid, and messing with it after the fact could have caused a brick.
