I'm trying to transfer the Activity Log from one 3DS to another, without using a system transfer.

I've managed to copy the software library and the pedometer step data by copying the PTR save file (00010022) from the NAND to the second 3DS. The second 3DS has all the data, but it's missing all the icons.

If I launch a game then its data will show up in the activity log, with all the data that was there on my other 3DS. But until I open the game, it doesn't show up at all. I could get it all back if I just open every game again… but I have 300+ titles played and I don't want to sit here and open every single one to get it to show up.

There must be some icon database somewhere that I can copy from the NAND of the original 3DS to get everything to show up, but where is it?

Thanks.

I don't know if it would work but maybe backing up the icon cache from the console that contributed the Activity Log and restoring it on the other one, using Cthulhu?

Why exactly are you looking to do this?
To my knowledge, activity log doesn't affect a thing

I really like using the activity log. I like looking back and seeing what I played the most this month, or how long I've spent playing certain games.

I've had a 3DS since the original launch so I don't want to lose almost six years of data.

That didn't work :/

EDIT: It seems that the caches that Cthulhu backs up and restores are saved on the SD card. But the cache that the Activity Log seems to use must be stored on the NAND somewhere since you can see the icons in the Activity Log even when you start your 3DS without an SD card.

Top section of diary app (green, with the hourly stats) = PTM driver's save + shared icon cache
Bottom section of diary app (orange, book with per-app totals) = Activity Log's save + shared icon cache

Hi, can you tell me what program did u use to transfer activity log?
And how?
Use a file manager like GodMode9
Folder names: https://www.3dbrew.org/wiki/System_SaveData

I'm currently using 11.3 by accident. So godmod9 wont be an option. Any other solution?

Hey Ryccardo, I was wondering.. So, I borrowed my friends 3ds with luma..
So I should copy both 'sys save data' and 'sys app& applet savegames'?
0x00010022 in sys save data
and
0x00020212 in sys app&applet sav
is that correct?

Yep (or just copy manually the first one, use JKSV for the second)

There should be no difference
Ok, since 11.3 is hackable now. I got both 3ds and 2ds luma-ed. I successfully copy the activity log (for the played hours), but the steps taken can't be copied.
And I also experienced loss of titles in the diary app as well as the OP.
Any sugestion??

System transfer.... how come you can't just do it the easy way?

doing this, everything works except for the total steps counter, which has for some reason reverted to 0
