Hacking I need a bit of help..

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section, I own a 3dsXL "new" version I accidentally updated it to 11.4, I also have a gateway 3ds on It's way to my door, as I received it I noticed on the website that it does not support 11.4, being new to the whole 3ds hacking community I rapidly noticed that I had dug myself into a hole, my questions are:

1. Is it possible to downgrade 11.4?

2. will my 50$ gateway 3ds ever work on my 11.4 console

All I wanted to do was download the latest pokemon game and play through it, seems I have messed myself up lol

any help Is honestly amazing thanks guys..

1. Nope.
2. IIRC, Gateway hasn't even been supported with 11.3 support (to my knowledge). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on this.

1. Maybe when 11.5/12.0 comes out or never. Wait and find out.

You guys don't have to make him feel bad about it. He got a pretty good deal on the card itself, just the fact that the current firmware isn't supported is crappy with his timing. Honestly, you should have looked to see if Gateway supported the current firmware before buying it. It says right on their site they don't even support 11.3 yet. Anyway, you also could have just bought pokemon for less than that and saved yourself the trouble.....
